How to choose the
best Beach Wedding Dresses
If you are planning the wedding of your dreams you may have decided to start at
the location of your wedding. Most people have a place that they prefer to be
married at; in the mountains, in a church, out in a field of flowers, jumping
out of a plane, or at the beach. When you think of the beach you recall the
water, sand, and a gentle breeze coming off of the waves as they come in and go
back out again. Although the breeze is mostly gentle you may need to plan for a
breeze blowing on your special day. You will need to anchor down all the props
used at your wedding, including your wedding arch. In addition to the props that
will make your wedding more memorable, you will also need to think about your
wedding dress.
On your wedding day the breeze may not be blowing very hard at the beach and you
won't have any cause to worry. On the other hand if it is blowing hard you will
be concentrating more on your dress flying up or your veil blowing off then you
would your vows. This may rob you of some very precious moments that you won't
be able to get back. Most traditional wedding dresses are long and puffed out
but today the looks have changed a little bit and this allows new brides some
flexibility when deciding what they want to wear. You really do need to dress
for the occasion and the location.
When choosing your beach wedding dress you need to decide on a few things to
help you narrow down your search and pick the best dress for you. Here are some
very important things you need to consider in order to make your wedding day
special.
Wedding Dress Material
The material you choose for your dress will determine the rest of your attire.
Some of the more popular material used for a beach wedding dress includes:
linen, chiffon, crepe, gauze, and georgette, Charmeuse, and more. Each type of
material can provide the same look that you desire but they can feel totally
different.
- Chiffon is a soft, sheer and see-through material made from rayon and
silk. It is very soft to the touch and feels very light when wearing it.
- Crepe is also a light weight material that has a crinkled feeling to
the outside of the dress.
- Linen is a soft material that has been used for years. It comes in a
wide range of colors and it keeps you cool when it is hot. Linen is not very
popular in wedding dress material any more.
- Charmeuse is a light weight material that feels soft and satiny to
touch. more here
